Michael P. Constantine, ND has been a successful and dedicated Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine since 1994. From childhood, Michael has always wanted to become a doctor. He excelled in academics throughout his formative education, and attended University of Florida, graduating early with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in zoology. Although he attended University of Miami School of Medicine for two years, he realized the standard of care in conventional medicine was not his proper outlet. Dr. Constantine found fulfillment in the curriculum and training at National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Naturopathic medicine is a distinct health care system centered in holism. It uses natural methods of stimulus and impetus to remove obstacles to cure and spark a healing reaction within self. Some natural therapies include nutrition, vitamin and mineral formulas, herbal medicine, biofeedback, and homeopathy. After these additional four years of naturopathic education, Dr. Constantine began practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor for a year in Kansas City, Missouri, and then returned to Portland for three more years in a private practice setting. Michael P. Constantine, ND returned to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1997, the place of his roots and family. He has been counseling patients in the Palm Beaches ever since and is well sought for his sound guidance in natural health.Having counseled over 11,000 patients and hundreds of medical practitioners themselves, Dr. Constantine has garnered expertise in holistic health. He served as Clinical and Nutritional Consultant for nine years with Immuno Laboratories in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. There he developed his sub-specialty in Allergy and Immunology. These former years have allowed Dr. Constantine, in complement with his private practice, to hear the requests of myriad patients for the return of a vitalistic approach to health and wellness. Thus, he began writing Holism Movement.The personal vision of Michael in creating this book is to share his wisdom, insight, and experience to help others achieve better health. Dr. Mike, as his patients kindly refer, defines his belief that the body can heal itself when it embraces nature, and seeks to inspire others to the same Holism Movement.
